Photograph of Jenny CavanaghJenny Cavanagh is involved with New Blakelaw Tenants & Residents Association and Blakelaw Community Network.  I am secretary of our tenants association and chair of the Blakelaw Network but wanted to become more involved so I became a community voice.  I had to have some training and am now an voice on children & young people and also on the board of Safe Newcastle.

I live in the West End of Newcastle and currently involved with Youth Voice, Ethnic Minority Volunteers, MPower and Community Radio Broadcasting.  I work with community projects to initiate and facilitate European youth exchanges, consultation events, arts & media projects, fashion shows, talent shows and any form of engaging or participatory activities.  I wanted to become a community voice so I could be involved in and supoort others from the community to be involved in decision making and services that are provided to us.

Ann Fullen is invoved with New Blakelaw Community Centre, Blakelaw Community Network, Healthworks and Wise People.  She is also a Parish Councillor for Blakelaw and Fenham Parish Council and helps with the disablied club if she has free times.  She also runs 'Beat the Clock' club for the over 50's where they do dancing, drama and other activities.
